Chet
Chet Murch, Rinks General Manager – Chet has spent his life in and around hockey rinks. He has extensive administrative management experience, strong leadership experience, and deep facilities management experience. Chet manages the facility, provides oversight and management of the programs, and he also coaches his son’s Seacoast Spartans team. We are so proud to have him lead our team. Peter
Peter Tufts, Director of Rinks Hockey Programs – Peter has experience managing schedules, teams, leagues, tournaments, and he has coached at the collegiate level in hockey and soccer. He is also a licensed USA Hockey Referee and Coach. Peter is responsible for all internal hockey programs for youth and adults levels, including house leagues, 3v3, 4v4, mens leagues, learn to play hockey, and many tournaments. Mark
Mark Farrington, Director of Skating Programs – Mark is one of the most respected skating coaches in New England. He has been running skating programs and providing instructions to beginners and experts alike for 10+ years. He trains figure skaters, beginning skaters, and hockey players who want to improve their speed, edge work, agility, and balance. He is a former professional figure skater and gets passion from teacher others. Mark played the Cowardly Lion in a skating production of the Wizard of Oz. That is really him in this pic.
Nicole
Nicole Bezio, Accounting Manager – Nicole has a four year degree in business and runs accounting, finance, and billing at The Rinks. She maintains accurate records on player balances, team balances, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. She also has the friendliest disposition! Cynthia
Cynthia Whitcomb, Customer Service Manager – Cynthia manages customer service for the The Rinks, this includes managing the front desk staff, overseeing the Public Skate and Stick Practice programs, advertising program, program scheduling, and web site updates. Jim
Jim Bogan, Facilities Manager – Jim manages the facilities, including rinks systems, building maintenance, building safety, compliance, and rinks operations staffing. Jim is a great leader, he is hard working, and he can fix anything! If any other rinks try to steal him from us, there will be trouble. Extension 104, email jbogan@therinksatexeter.com
Kurt
Kurt Mallett, Seacoast Spartans General Manager and Seacoast College Prep Head Coach – As a seasoned skating and skills coach, Kurt Mallett’s mastery of teaching has transformed young athletes into outstanding hockey players. Mallett played four years of collegiate hockey, where he earned the honor of All American his senior year. Kurt also tallied 217 points in his 4 Collegiate Seasons of Hockey as well as 2 NCAA final four appearances, and held a 2 year Captain position for the Vikings. Kurt also played 6 yrs of professional hockey between the ECHL & IHL, before retiring to be a professional coach. We are pretty sure he made all of this up, but it sure sounds good. During his time playing pro, as part of such teams as the Richmond Renegades, Jacksonville Lizard Kings, Pee Dee Pride, Charlotte Checkers, Trenton Titans, Phoenix Roadrunners, Fort Wayne Komets, and San Antonio Dragons, Kurt was fortunate enough to win the ECHL Riley Cup Championship.
One of Kurt’s greatest attributes was his ability to be a leader. As a result, Kurt was a not only a player, but also an Assistant coach and Captain for 3 of his 6 seasons in Pro hockey. Mallett has been working at the Rinks at Exeter for 13 years, where he has developed and run skill sessions for several organizations and players from Mites to the Professional ranks. He has established a reputation for significantly improving player skills through an innovative, fast pace skills progression program. Kurt resides in York Maine with his wife, Susie, his daughter, Mackenzie, and his son, Trevor. He is probably one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
